Mike Hughes & Partners began providing financial services in 1982, originally operating from the Georges Hall office. The firm was founded by Mike Hughes, who after working for the banks saw that his clients needed a fresh approach to motor vehicle & equipment finance, which focused primarily on providing a professional financial service that excelled in customer service. Maurie Ellem, after working for the banks for 28 years, was one of the original founding partners.
To continue servicing our client’s needs, the firm was restructured in 2006 and a new additional office trading as Mike Hughes & Partners North West was opened by Maurie Ellem and his son-in-law Damian Lucak. In 2007 Maurie’s son Damien Ellem joined Mike Hughes & Partners North West, followed by Ted Stelmaszak in 2010.
Mike Hughes & Partners North West has expanded its original product offering of motor vehicle & equipment finance to now also include the following financial services: property & investment loans, business loans, commercial property loans, debtor finance, personal motor vehicle & boat finance and insurance premium funding. Mike Hughes & Partners North West is also pleased to advise that it has secured the following value added services for its clients which are available through its affiliate divisions: bookkeeping services with Burbank Bookkeeping Services and general insurance services with Burbank Insurance Consultants.
